Removing and installing clutch
The main problem, which is necessary to eliminate the removal and dismantling of the clutch: - Increased (compared to the usual) noise when the clutch is engaged; - Jerks when operating the clutch; - Incomplete inclusion of coupling (the clutch "slips"); - Incomplete clutch (clutch "leads").
HELPFUL ADVICE Failure of coupling recommend replacing simultaneously all the elements (slave and master disks and clutch), as the work to replace the clutch time-consuming, while the intact elements of coupling resource is reduced and, if installed again, you may need to replace the clutch After a relatively short path. |
You will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, wrench "14" ... ... Tool for centering drive plate (can be made from the primary shaft of the gearbox by removing the gear). You can use a commercially available mandrel for front wheel drive cars VAZ.
NOTE So arranged plate mounting bolts to the engine flywheel (marked with blue paint). |
| | 2. If you want to install the old pressure plate, mark in any way (such as paint) the relative position of the housing and flywheel drive to install the pressure plate to its original position (to maintain the balance). | 3. Hold the flywheel with a large screwdriver (or mounting a spatula) from turning ... |
| | 4. ... remove the six mounting bolts of a press disk of coupling to a flywheel. Tighten bolts evenly loosen: each bolt one turn of the key, moving from bolt to bolt diameter. | 5. Remove the cover ... |
| | 6. ... and the clutch disc. | 7. Inspect the clutch disc. Cracks on the details of the slave drive are not allowed. Check the wear of the friction linings. If the rivet heads are recessed at least 0.2 mm, the surface of the friction lining oily or loose riveted joints, it is necessary to replace the clutch disc. |
NOTE If linings slave drive zamasleny, check the condition of the gland primary shaft of a transmission. You may need to be replaced. |
8. Check the fixation of the damper springs in nests hub drive plate, trying to move them in the nests of the hub by hand. If the springs can be easily moved in the nests or broken, replace the drive. |
9. Check the beating the slave drive if visual inspection revealed its warping. If the amount of runout exceeds 0.5 mm, replace the drive. |
10. Inspect the working friction surface of the flywheel and pressure plate, drawing attention to the lack of deep scratches, burrs, nicks, obvious signs of wear and overheating. Replace defective components. |
11. With the weakening of riveted joints of parts of the casing and the pressure plate, replace the pressure plate assembly. Visually estimate a condition of the diaphragm spring pressure plate. Cracks in the diaphragm spring is not allowed. Designated contact with petals spring release bearing must be in the same plane and have no obvious signs of wear (wear amount must not exceed 0.8 mm). Otherwise, replace the pressure plate assembly. |
12. Inspect the connecting links of the casing and the drive. If the links are deformed or broken, replace the pressure plate assembly. |
13. Visually Assess the support rings of the compression spring. The rings should not have cracks and wear. Otherwise, replace the pressure plate assembly. |
14. Before installing the clutch, check the ease of movement of the slave drive on the primary shaft splines transmission. If you want to eliminate the causes of seizure or replace defective parts. |
| 15. Slots hub drive plate refractory apply grease. |
16. When mounting the first clutch using tool set clutch disc, and then three centering pin - housing pressure plate and screw the mounting bolts to the flywheel. Screw the bolts evenly one at each turn of the key, alternately moving from bolt to bolt diameter. Tightening torque is listed in Annex 1. |
17. Remove the mandrel and set the gearbox. |
