Engine Model L8 or LF



As the power plant in Mazda 3 uses a 4-cylinder engines in which the cylinders are arranged in a single row. Bottom drive tray is closed, forming a housing, which is also the reservoir for the oil needed for lubrication, cooling and protection of engine parts from wear.
All three 16-valve engine with four valves per cylinder. The valves are actuated by two camshafts located at the top through bucket tappets.
