Replacing the oil seal (differential)
Place the vehicle on a horizontal surface, lift and lower the jack to support. Drain the oil from the gearbox. Remove the front wheels and mudguards. Separate drive and the connecting shafts from the gearbox in unit with the main gear.
Using a special tool and hammer evenly press in new shaft seal as a special device abuts the main transmission housing (Fig. 3.28). Coat the lip of each oil seal gearbox oil. Insert the drive and the connecting shafts in the gearbox in unit with the main gear. Install the wheels and mudguards. Top up with the required amount of oil required type.
