Removal, check and installation of the front shock absorbers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release nut (arrow) and remove the screw from the top strut.
  2. Under the car, release the nut (1), then remove the plate (2) with a rubber sleeve (3) and release the shock from the lower support bracket (4).
  3. Remove the shock absorber holders (5 and 6), the rubber bearing (7) and spacer sleeve (8).
  4. Assess the rubber components of the failed elements replace.
  5. Inspect the damper for evidence of leakage from the shaft collar workers, if necessary, prepare a removable assembly.
  6. Installation is in the reverse order. Ensure that the fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
