Build Engine

Engine assembly take into account guidance Div. "General requirements for the repair of a vehicle" in the following order.

Marking and sequence of tightening of bolts of covers of radical bearings of the crankshaft
Fig. 2.2. Marking and sequence of tightening of bolts of covers of radical bearings of the crankshaft

Install the stand clean block. Wipe under the bed liners in the block and crankshaft bearing caps. Set the bed of the cylinder liners with grease grooves, and wiping them with a pre-oiled. Establish persistent half rings on the middle support cylinder so that their oil grooves facing toward the crankshaft. Wipe indigenous and crank pins, lubricate them with engine oil and install the shaft in the engine block. Insert the crankshaft bearing cap inserts, lubricate them with engine oil and replace the respective crankshaft journals so that the shoulders of upper and lower liners were against each other. Tighten cover bolts (Fig. 2.2) and tighten them to the specified torque. Rotate the crankshaft to ensure that it turns freely with little effort. Check the axial clearance of the crankshaft (see. "The crankshaft and flywheel").

Assembling the connecting rod and piston group
Fig. 2.3. Assembling the connecting rod and piston group: 1 - the number of size group piston diameter;
2 - the label on the bottom of the piston, which should be directed towards the timing; 3 - insert with hole for lubrication; 4 - insert the connecting rod cap; 5 - Non-acquisition of a rod with a rod cover

The connecting rods and pistons to the assembly must be oriented so that when installed in the engine block mark on the piston crown facing towards camshaft drive (Fig. 2.3), and the labels on the connecting rod and connecting rod cap placed against each other and were directed towards the oil filter . Lubrication hole in the rod is oriented toward the starter.
Pick your fingers to the connecting rods, bearing in mind that the gap in conjunction finger-sleeve top head of a rod should be 0,05-0,17 mm for the new parts.
Heat the piston in an oil bath to a temperature of 60-70 ? C, set the prism piston and the mandrel press in the piston pin into the piston and connecting rod upper head. The bosses of the piston grooves install new retaining rings.

Installation of the piston rings
Fig. 2.4. Installation of the piston rings: I - how to install the piston rings; II - the location of the piston rings; 1 - label on the piston directed towards the timing; 2 - joint expander oil ring; 3 - lock the upper compression and oil scraper ring of the upper; 4 - Castle oil ring; 5 - lock lower compression ring

Pick the cylinders, piston rings (see. "Connecting rod and piston group"). Heat gap measured in locks rings placed into the cylinder to a depth of 15 mm from the upper end of the cylinder. Check the probe gap between the side wall of the piston rings and grooves. Apply engine oil to the piston rings and grooves. Using the tool wear on the piston rings label ?N? up (to the bottom of the piston). Spread the joints of rings, as shown in Fig. 2.4.
Clean the bed of rods and their covers. Clean the cover and insert the inserts in accordance with the labels put at dismantling (if applicable worked liners). Put on the new connecting rod bolts protective plastic caps, which simultaneously prevent falling out of the upper bushing. Apply engine oil to the piston and cylinder. Compress piston rings with special tool or by using a tapered mandrel, insert the piston into the cylinder, taking into consideration requirements for the location of the piston and connecting rod relative to the cylinder.
Remove the protective caps from the connecting rod bolts. Apply engine oil to the connecting rod liners and crankshaft. Install the connecting rod and the cover on the crankshaft, and the label on the cover and connecting rod should be directed to the side of the oil filter.
Attach the back of the cuff of the crankshaft with a new seal, pre-pressed into a mandrel new cuff. Establish a flywheel, causing the threads of the screw-lock thread sealant and wrapped them to the specified torque.
Further operations are conducted in reverse order, with the following.
Observe the specified tightening torques of threaded connections.
Center the clutch disc as specified in Section. "Clutch".
Install a new oil filter.
