Disassembly of the engine
A WARNING In the case of re-use of parts in the assembly of the engine it is recommended to put labels on them, at assemblage to establish them in the same position. |
Remove the power unit as described above. Disconnect from the engine gearbox. Washed and peeled engine set to stand apart. Remove the oil filter and starter. With locking device Lock the handwheel and remove the crankshaft pulley. Remove the oil pan. Remove the cover of the crankshaft. Remove the oil pump. On vehicles with manual transmission, remove the clutch pressure plate bolts to the flywheel and remove the cover assembly from the pressure plate and clutch disc. On vehicles with automatic transmission, unplug the gearbox housing and the engine by disconnecting while the torque converter from the drive plate. Remove the flywheel. Remove the water pump, turn out bolts of its fastening. Remove the timing chain. Remove the cylinder head cover and the cylinder head. Remove the drive chain sprocket of the camshaft from the crankshaft. Remove the oil pan mounting bolts and remove it. Remove the oil receiver: Remove the screws of the rear cuff of the crankshaft and remove it with the help of two screwdrivers, emphasizing them in special projections. Place the cylinder block on the stand. Check for the presence of labels on covers of rods and crankshaft bearing. If you want to put labels on the connecting rods, bearing caps and cylinder block. Unscrew the nuts and remove covers of rods. Remove the top of the cylinder pistons with rods. Remove the connecting rod bearing shells and determine their degree of wear. If inserts can be reused, apply a label, determine their position ("top", "bottom"), and mark the corresponding rods. Forceps, remove the retaining ring piston pin and the piston in the oil heating to 60-70 ?� C, with a mandrel press out the pin from the piston and the top head of a rod. Check the axial clearance of the crankshaft. Remove the bolt main bearing caps and remove the cover with the lower liners. Remove the crankshaft bearing beds, the upper ear and persistent half rings. If the ear is supposed to be used again, you must mark them as well as connecting rod bearings.
