Dismantling, check the technical condition and repair of cylinder head
To disassemble the cylinder head, set on a suitable base. Remove the intake manifold, injectors and starters candles. Remove using puller toothed pulleys at each end of the camshaft. Gradually loosen and remove the nuts camshaft bearing cap, label and remove the bearing caps. Remove the camshaft and tappets, and then harrow with camshaft. Never use a magnet to extract pushers. This can lead to the magnetization of the ball and, consequently, to a violation of integrity check valve. Furthermore, when installing pushers must be in the operating position in order to avoid the entry of air into their high-pressure chamber. Remove the valve using spring compressor type FACOM U43LA. Put in order of the recorded details: biscuits, plate springs, spring, thrust washer, valve. Remove the valve stem caps on the valve guides with special forceps. Remove the nozzles and remove the overload washer. Remove the spark plugs. Thoroughly clean all parts. Do not use a metal scraper for cleaning the mating surfaces of the cylinder head. Apply for this purpose, a chemical solvent such as Loctite Dexapjoint or Decaloc 88. Check the condition of the valves and their seats. If they are damaged, grind the appropriate grinding wheels type NEWAY. The angles of grinding are reported in Table. 3.6. Check the clearance between the valve stems and the guide bushings. Check the condition of the camshaft and its bearings. Cams and journals must not be significant wear. Parameters for testing are specified in the characterization of the camshaft. Set the guides new valve stem seals. Set the guides, making sure not to damage the valve stem seals. Install support washer, spring and upper spring seat. Plates exhaust valves have a special device that rotates the valve in the axial direction to its uniform wear. Do not confuse them with plates of springs of the intake valves. Replace crackers, pre-compressing the valve spring device. Grease pushers and paste them into their nests. Apply engine oil to the cervix and camshaft lobes. Replace camshaft and gradually tighten the nuts specified torque bearing caps. Put the new seals at each end of the camshaft. Install the intake manifold, front and back cover, toothed pulleys. Install new overload the washer, then the nozzle and the glow plugs. Turn the camshaft so that the valves of cylinder 1 closed.
