Removal and installation of the water pump
 | The water pump can not be disassembled and repaired. If necessary, replace the pump assembly. |
The components of the installation of the water pump | | |
| - Drain the cooling system (see. Section Replacement of a cooling liquid).
- Remove multirebristy belt (see chap. Engine) and the water pump pulley.
 | To facilitate the removal of a pulley release it to remove the belt fasteners. |
- Insert the pump in a wooden block and knock the pump. Remove the pump gasket.
 | When removing the pump will weave coolant remaining in the engine. |
- To remove the suction tube assembly, remove the air cleaner, radiator and heater hoses, move from the tube wiring, remove the screws and pull the tube towards the rear of the engine.
- Make sure that the pump and its blades are no traces of dirt and rust. The pump shaft should be rotated smoothly by hand and have no backlash. If necessary, replace the pump.
- Installation is in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following points.
- Install new O-ring into the groove at the end of the suction tube.
| - Apply a bead of sealant pump flange in accordance with the illustration.

- After at least 30 minutes after installing the water pump refill the cooling system and check for leaks (see. Chapter Settings and maintenance of the car).
