Removing and installing fuel injectors and a fuel distributive highway
Components installation injectors and a fuel distributive highway | | |
| - Relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply).
- Remove the air intake hose and air cleaner assembly covers (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
- Remove the intake manifold support bracket (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
- Disconnect from a fuel distributive highway and plug the fuel hose it to prevent fuel leakage.
- Disconnect the injector wiring harness and move it to the side. If you disconnect connectors is difficult, it can be done after removing the assembly of fuel injectors and fuel rail to the cylinder head.
- Remove the mounting bolts of the fuel distribution manifold (first - bolt located closer to the rear of the engine) and remove the cylinder head assembly distributive highway and injectors.
 | Do not let the spray injectors touch other parts. |
- Remove the injectors from the fuel rail injector clamp pre-stretched.
 | Remove the injectors straight out not to damage the nozzles. Do not drop the injector, disassemble or adjust. |
- When installing the sealing rings of injectors remember the following things:
- The upper and lower O-rings are different from each other, set them in accordance with the color-coded: brown - from the fuel rail and the black - from the cylinder;
- Place the O-rings with his bare hands, do not wear gloves;
- Before installation, lubricate the O-ring motor oil;
- Do not clean the seals with solvents;
- O-rings and mating with them surface must be free of foreign material;
- Do not scratch the O-rings tools or nails, twist or pull the ring.
| - Install a new clip (3) in the groove (2) on the injector (1). Bracket (5) latch must go to the tab (4) on the injector. Make sure the latch does not apply to the sealing rings. Otherwise, replace the O-ring.
|
- Set the injector (1) precisely at the junction line (6). The notch (8) on the retainer must enter the projection (7) on the fuel rail, and the flange (10) must sit firmly in the groove (9) preservative.
- Make sure that the injector does not rotate and does not leave the fuel rail. Repeat the procedure from step 9 for the remaining injectors.
- Establish assemblage of injectors and fuel distribution manifold to the cylinder head, do not touch the admission nozzles with other parts, and tighten the bolts first assembly with a force 11.8 ÷ 13.8 N ??? m, and then - with a force of 20.8 ÷ 28.2 N ??? m.
 | First, tighten the bolt, close to the front of the engine. |
- Connect the fuel rail fuel hose and securely tighten the clamp.
| - Install the intake manifold support bracket and tighten the mounting bolts in the sequence shown naillyustratsii, first by hand and then with a force of 6.9 ÷ 9.5 N ??? m (bolt ?1) or 8.4 ÷ 10.8 N ??? m (bolts ?2 and ?3) .
|
- Further installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantle of components.
- After installation, turn the ignition (without starting the engine) after the pressure in the fuel system make sure there are no leaks of fuel. Then, start the engine and recheck the fuel lines for leaks.
