Refitting

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the retaining clip, squeeze the plastic lock tabs, remove your finger and remove the pushrod from the brake pedal.
  2. Try to remember adjusting position of the pedal return spring, give a nut axial bolts, remove the bolt from the support bracket and remove the pedal from the vehicle (pedal components are shown in an accompanying illustration). Check the pedal for cracks and signs of strain. Perform necessary repairs or zamnite pedal.

  1. Check the pedal axle hub for signs of wear or damage. Check developed by the return spring force. Defective components replace.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure that when you release the pedal back to the same position as before removal.
  2. Tighten bolts to the required axial force.
  3. Check the height of the position and the size of a free wheeling of a pedal, if necessary, make the adjustment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch of stoplights.
  3. Loosen the lock nut for two stoplights and turn the sensor switch counterclockwise, taking him off the pedal.
  4. Loosen the lock nut of the tip of a pusher and adjust the length of the latter, achieving the required height of the pedal (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual). The measurement is made on the floor panel to the surface of the pedal pad (A) in the accompanying illustration.

The measurement is performed when removing the rug! Tighten the lock nut of the tip of the pusher.

Make sure that at the end of regulation did not come down with the tip of the push rod.

  1. Adjust the position of the gauge-switch of stoplights so that the gap between the edge of the threaded portion of the gauge-switch and pedal (B - see. Accompanying illustration) was 0.3 ÷ 1.0 mm. Tighten the lock nut gauge-switch and check the pedal free travel (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual).
  2. If necessary, Correct the position of the gauge-switch, achieving the desired amount of free running. Make sure that the brake lights are not illuminated when the brake pedal is released.
