Removal and installation of the transverse jet bar
 | To perform the procedures described below require a press suitable mandrel and the tube. |
Withdrawal | - If necessary Poddomkratte back of the car and establish it on props, the institution under the chassis frame.
- Give nuts and bolt cross-section jet bar to the rear axle and the chassis. Remove the bar from the vehicle. Details of fastening of the transverse jet bar shown in the accompanying illustration.
- Check the hub transverse jet rod for signs of wear or damage. Defective plug replace:
- Prop up the post to be replaced by a segment of the pipe sleeve of suitable diameter (the sleeve must pass freely through the pipe).
- Using the tool, the mandrel which will abut the outer steel tube sleeve, squeeze the plug of the rod.
- Moisten the outer surface of the new plug soapy water and start to gradually push the plug on its seat with the help of a piece of pipe, which will abut the outer steel tube sleeve.
- Ensure perpendicularity of the bushing and its central location.

Setting Installation is in the reverse order. | - Carefully check the condition of the axial rods and rod bolts. Replace worn components.
- Install transverse torque rods on the vehicle, install all hardware (nuts, bolts, washers).
- Lower the car to the ground several times Push it, then tighten the nut with a force of the chassis 78 ÷ 107 Nm. Bridge nut torque to 117 ÷ 158 Nm.
- If necessary, tighten the nut on the steering damper actuator.
