Service flywheel
| To perform the procedures described below require a dial gauge plunger type and a heat source (such as a blowtorch). |
| To provide access to the flywheel must be removed from the vehicle engine or transmission. The choice depends on the presence of the lifting equipment. |
Refitting Withdrawal | - Remove the engine or transmission.
- Mark the position of the clutch on the flywheel. Gradually loosen and remove mounting bolts, remove the basket with guide pins and remove the flywheel from the grip of the car (the clutch components are shown in the accompanying illustration).
- Lock the flywheel from turning and remove the bolts securing it.
- Mark position of flywheel on the crankshaft and carefully remove it.
|
|
Setting Installation is in the reverse order. | - Gently solicit combining all put in the course of dismantling the landing labels and tighten all fasteners to the required torque (see. Table sizes and adjustments in the end of this manual).
- Centre the clutch plate on the guide bushing of the crankshaft using a spare transmission input shaft or a special tool. Gradually in diagonal order, tighten the bolts of the basket.
|
|
Checking the Status | - Measure the run-out of workers (in contact with the clutch plate) surface of the flywheel. If the result is greater than 0.1 mm wear on both the crankshaft and the flywheel removed from it, it should be replaced.
- Check the working surface of the flywheel for cracks, scoring, and deep scratches.
- Examine the teeth of the crown for the presence of chipping, cracks and other damage. The ring gear to be replaced separately from the flywheel.
|
|
Replacing the ring gear | - Remove the flywheel from the vehicle and drill a hole ø 3 mm between the two teeth of the crown.
| The hole should not be cross-cutting to avoid damage to the handwheel flange. |
- Place the chisel on the drilled hole and the sharp hammer blows laminate crown.
- Remove the crown from the flywheel, then remove from the left landing surface when removing burrs and burrs.
- Polish the sandpaper several sites on povit new ring gear and begin to heat up last as long as the polished areas do not acquire a dark blue hue.
- Quickly put the crown on the flywheel teeth chamfers up and away from the flywheel flange. Make sure of reliability of landing the crown density and pressing it to the flange.
| Give the crown to cool naturally, in any case not spray with water! |
