The rear suspension struts and shock absorbers

In graphics view of the assembled rear suspension on the one hand (with disc brakes) and elements disassembled rear suspension shown in detail in the assembled state of the wiring diagram. Guided by these illustrations: | - Remove the rear seat, remove the upper shock absorber and loosen the three nuts from the upper side of the shock absorber. Do not unscrew the nut in the middle (of the piston rod nut), but in some circumstances it can be unscrewed. Thus the car should stand on wheels.
- Replace the back of the car on the wheels and unscrew the rear wheels. Engage first gear or reverse gear, the car can not roll off the supports. Leave under the rear cross beam lift.
- Remove the cap nut of the brake pipe on the connection with the hose, remove the hose from the pipe, and beat out a spring plate with a hose. Remove the hose from the mounting plate.
- Remove the stabilizer bar from the strut and remove it.
- Unscrew the lower side strut both nut and bolt of the strut from the wheel hub and gently knock the bolts. Insert a screwdriver into the clamping slot strut and slowly squeeze the hub holder down until it is released from the strut.
- Remove spring strut down. Check out which side is laying, as it can stay on the body.

Dismantling strut Details dismantled strut shown in the Samu spring strut can be seen in the | - Grasp the underside of the strut in a vise. In order to avoid tightening the clamping element, you can insert a socket before you tighten the vise.
- Replace the spring coils constrictor, as shown for the front springs and completely unscrew the nut of the middle strut. Remove the rack from all shown on the illustration of the elements. Both support rack set in a certain position, which must be marked before removing supports. On vehicles with carbureted engine has two spring struts with a different diameter of the piston rod. Buffers compression stroke must be replaced with an amortization rack.
- If you need only replace the spring, no other work carried out is not required.
- Check the shock absorber, hold it upright in a vice, squeezing and stretching it. Throughout the course of the piston pressure should be the same. When moving jerkily shock absorber should be replaced.
- Book a rear springs in the catalog.

Assembling strut | - Clamp the spring strut in a vise.
- Put on a rack compressed spring. Check that the spring plates joined to the circuit as seen from the illustration. The spring at one end has a flat end. This side should be facing upwards. Also the marked one spring and two notches. Two tags must be on the underside.
Elements for setting the rear spring | 1 - helical spring 2 - color coding 3 - bottom of the spring cup 4 - Set the horses spring into place, indicated by a circle |
- Put a support strut on the piston rod and turn to put at removal have coincided tags. If this is overlooked, you need to focus on the illustration above. Each mounting strut has a guide hole and the spring seat must be turned until the support is aligned on the left or right side, as shown.
- Screw the new nut and torque to 60 - 80 N ??? m. Flattening at the end of the piston rod is used to hold the stem from turning.

Installing the strut | - Connect the hub holder amortization rack, align the screw holes and push the bolts from the stabilizer bar. Screw the nut and torque to 100 - 120 N ??? m.
Proper installation of supports depreciation racks. The arrow facing forward | A - left side In the - right side |
- Secure the shock absorber on the upper side of the three nuts (apply gasket) and tighten the nut with a force of 45 - 55 N ??? m.
- Attach the anti-roll bar and tighten the nut with a force of 42 - 48 N ??? m.
- All other works are executed in the reverse order.
- Bleed the brake system.
