Driving mechanical (cable) clutch shown in Fig. 5.3. A cable attached to a support in the engine compartment with the upper housing side and provided with an automatic adjusting device near the clutch pedal, therefore, additional adjustments are required. Cable directed vertically downward. Before carrying out any work on the drive, check cable tension and the state of the clutch mechanism for automatic adjustment of a backlash, as follows: - At least five times, press the clutch pedal all the way to trigger the mechanism of automatic adjustment of the gap;

- Working in the engine compartment, slide release lever grip by about 10 mm in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 5.4), ie, against the direction of the lever. The lever should move freely. If not, replace the clutch cable or find the cause of failure of the automatic adjustment mechanism.
