Locks
Central locking doors. The system central locking and unlocking of doors installed on some versions of cars provides simultaneous locking and unlocking of the side doors, the doors or tailgate (with horizontal slit lock cylinders), and the hatch toplivnonalivnoy neck. Outside the locks are unlocked by turning the key in the lock of any of the front doors. To unlock the same time inside the passenger compartment, pull the button on the top left of the front door trim. In case of failure of the central locking unlocks all locks key. If necessary, forced unlocking flap toplivnonalivnoy neck trim, remove the right side of the luggage compartment and press the locking rod pneumatic pump.

Castle tailgate (Tailgate). When horizontal wells trunk lock (Vento) or tailgate (Golf) (Fig. 1.11) is automatically locked / unlocked the central locking system. You can also open and close it with a master key (ignition and door locks). When vertical wells lock can only be unlocked using master key. To unlock the lock, turn the key all the way to the right and hold it in this position, press the locking cylinder of the lock. Locking rear door locks. To avoid accidentally opening the rear doors at the back seat of the carriage of children and pets in cars Golf III provides for opening the lock from the inside. To enable it, set the lock lever located on the front of the rear door.

Hood lock. To open the bonnet, pull the handle (29) (see. Fig. 1.3), the bonnet and press up on the additional lock, open the hood. Unclip located on the upper cross member Chuck, spacer bar and insert the end into the hole in the cowl panel of the amplifier.
