Removing the cylinder head on the VR6 engine
To remove the head of the block, do the following: - Remove the spark plug wire guides, relegating them along the cylinder, then pull them up, as shown by the arrows; - Remove the ignition distributor, pull the cable ends of candles with a candle;

- Remove the valve cover 3 (Fig. 2.56) and its gasket must be replaced; - Remove the upper part of the intake manifold, which is attached to the bottom of the reservoir and to the engine shield; - Disconnect the manifold support 8; - Remove the heat shield of the exhaust manifold; - Remove the lower part of the intake manifold, paying attention to how you set up both sides of the gasket to properly install the new ones; - Remove the need for removing the head elements of the valve timing (upper chain should be free from both asterisks camshafts); - Remove the ignition distributor; - Disconnect the chain tensioner 6 from the body of the cylinder head;

- Disconnect the plate from the lower half of the valve cover and then remove the cover 5 (see. Fig. 2.57);

- Loosen the cylinder head in the reverse order shown in Fig. 2.58.
