Proper positioning of the lower coil spring in a spring nest

PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Remove spring strut from the vehicle. | 2. Attach the rear strut in a vice with soft sponges and, using a special tool, compress the spring so that it is moved away from the top. When using the special adaptation for compression of springs watch, that spring coils were reliably grasped and the spring compression make from opposite sides. The spring has very big effort of compression, therefore use only very reliable tool. In no case do not connect a spring wire. | 3. Lock key shock-absorber rod from turning and using a second spanner, unscrew the central nut securing the shock absorber rod. Consistently remove from a shock absorber rod the top support, bumper, upper spring seat, spring guard, rubber spacer and the lower spring seat. | 4. strut assembly is made in sequence, return dismantling taking into account the following points. | 5. Install the spring so that the end turns of the spring is placed correctly on the spring seat and were directed to the center of the vehicle (see. Fig. Proper positioning of the lower coil spring in a spring nest). | 6. The upper suspension strut set so that the axis passing through the centering fingers parallel to the axis of the shock absorber lower mounting (see. Fig. Location of the top support strut). Centering fingers (1) must be on the outer side of the vehicle. |
