Ignition system with the ignition distributor (the engine 1,6-I ADP)
It is a contactless ignition system. Instead, the chopper is equipped with a distributor that does not require maintenance, a Hall sensor. Contactless sensors, microelectronic, is based on the Hall effect. This effect is the appearance of a transverse electric field in a semiconductor wafer with a current under the action of its magnetic field. The sensor consists of a permanent magnet and a semiconductor chip wafer. Between the plate and magnet a gap. The gap sensor is a steel screen with slots. When the slot passes through the gap screen, it acts on the plate of a semiconductor magnetic field and it is removed a potential difference. If the body is located in the gap screen, the lines of magnetic force closes through the screen and onto the plate does not operate. In this case, the potential difference between the plate arises. On the basis of the signals of the Hall sensor, the ignition switches on or off the current in the primary winding of the ignition coil. Ignition control unit comprises one housing the ignition coil, ignition coil control system and the system of power limitation.
