Diesel fuel
General information Diesel fuel must comply with DIN EN 590. The cetane number of at least 51. Fuel PME (biodiesel) in accordance with DIN 51 606. Cars with diesel engine can operate on fuel RME (maslorastitelnom methyl ester). If you are using biodiesel fuel, fill the tank with fuel only PME.
NOTE There may be only a slight deterioration trailer dynamic qualities of the car. |
Fuel PME may be somewhat higher. If you are using fuel that does not meet the above standards, the fuel filter may be clogged. Biodiesel is operational to outdoor air temperature -10 ? C. When the outdoor temperature is below -10 ? C is recommended to fill the tank with diesel fuel.
Operation in winter conditions When using summer diesel fuel at ambient temperatures below 0 ? C may encounter disruptions to the engine as fuel due to loss of paraffin becomes viscous. Therefore, in Germany during the cold season using winter diesel fuel, which, depending on its grade ensures uninterrupted operation of the engine at a temperature of -15 ? C or to -22 ? C. In countries where climatic conditions are different from other varieties of diesel fuel, most of which are other than the above temperature limits their application. The car is equipped with a heating of the fuel filter. Due to this fuel, intended to apply it at a temperature of -15 ? C can be used at temperatures up to about -24 ? C. If at temperatures below -24 ? C fuel became so dense that the engine does not start, it is enough to give the car some time to stand in the heated room. For diesel fuel should not be admixed various additives, gasoline and other additives that enhance its fluidity.
