Removal and installation of a cable connection unit injectors and glow plugs

Withdrawal Remove the engine cover.
ATTENTION Installing / removing the cable connection is only possible after loosening / tightening brackets. When removing the cable channel of the staples of data occurs extension brackets also too large a gap may bring to the cable break. This applies to work on the replacement unit injectors, as well as all types of work that do not need to completely disconnect central plug. |
NOTE With piezoelectric injectors dismantling the plug connection must be made only by means of a stripper. |
Remove the cylinder head cover. Disconnect the central connector on the cylinder head.
Set the key on the adapter ring, and turn 90 ?� (1/4 vol.) In the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.357).

Pull retainer 1 up easily with a screwdriver, and then to the central plug into the 2.
Install the puller side of the connectors unit injectors and remove them in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.359).
Remove the plugs from the glow plug 1. Remove the mounting bolts 2 stainless steel brackets and lift the cable connection (Fig. 2.360).
Setting Installation is performed in reverse sequence, with the following. Set the cable connection and tighten the fixing bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
Install the central plug through the hole in the module supports, at the same time follow the correct installation of the E-ring (Fig. 2.361). Install the adapter ring (color "long" label indicates 12 hours). Set the key on the adapter ring and secure by turning 90 ?� (1/4 vol.) Against the direction of the arrow.
NOTE After proper installation of the adapter ring color "short" label will indicate the 12 hours. |
Place and fix the central connector on the cylinder head (Fig. 2.357). Install the cylinder head cover. Install the engine cover.
