The components of the automatic transmission mounted on the vehicle shown in the figure 3.73.
Control unit for automatic gearbox
| Fig. 3.74. Control unit for automatic gearbox
|
The control unit is located on the front left wheel arch (Fig. 3.74). To remove it or install, you must remove the front fender locker.
Multifunction sensor
Distribution Module
The distribution unit is screwed to the bottom of the transmission case and oil pan is closed (Fig. 3.76). The distribution module mounted solenoid valves and pressure regulating valves.
Harness, 8 pin
Harness attached to the distribution gearbox module (Fig. 3.77).
Harness, 14 Pin
Harness attached to the distribution gearbox module (Fig. 3.78).
1st oil pressure and 2nd oil pressure sensor
| Fig. 3.79. Oil Pressure Switch: 1 - 1st oil pressure sensor; 2 - 2nd oil pressure sensor
|
These sensors are not installed in all gearboxes (Fig. 3.79). The gearboxes equipped with these sensors, they are located in the control module.
The speed sensor on the gearbox input speed sensor output CP
| Fig. 3.80. Speed sensors: 1 - speed sensor on the gearbox input; 2 - speed sensor output CP
|
The sensors are located above the distribution unit in the gearbox housing (Fig. 3.80).
Sensor sistemyTiptronic
The sensor system is integrated into the Tiptronic selector lever (Fig. 3.81). For vehicles with multifunction steering wheel are also subject to verification of the buttons on the steering wheel and their wiring.
Diagnostic connection
Diagnostic connection is set to the left under the driver's side plate (Fig. 3.82).
