Strongly pull the lever down in the direction and again to press up (Fig. 4.39).

With force on the wheel click bottom inwardly and outwardly (Fig. 4.40).

NOTE

Both checks should show the lack of tangible or visible "backlash".

When conducting inspections observe the suspension joints.

Consider the possibility of a backlash in wheel bearings or "play" on the top cushion strut.

Check the boot for damage and replace if necessary hinge.
