Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder
Withdrawal Disconnect the battery. Remove the air intake hose, the air filter (in vehicles with diesel engines and some gasoline) and battery. On vehicles with 6-cyl. gasoline engine battery in the luggage compartment; accordingly necessary to remove only the air filter housing. Remove the battery box holder. Put in engine and transmission a sufficient amount of cloth that does not leave fibers. Evacuate the maximum amount of brake fluid by a device for filling and pumping device or from the brake fluid reservoir. For vehicles with manual gearbox: Clamp the hose into the master cylinder clutch with the clamp Ø 25 mm.

Remove the hose into the master cylinder clutch (Fig. 6.46). Continuation of the assembly operations for all vehicles Remove the connector from the sensor A warning indicator float. Remove the connector C switch Brake F. Remove the brake fluid reservoir. To do this, press the latches on the outside and at the same time the tank Remove the reservoir from the cap. 1 Remove the brake pipes on the master cylinder, close the pipes using plugs from repair kit 1H0 698 311 A.

Loosen the nut 2 from the brake master cylinder (Fig. 6.47). If there is, remove the thermal insulation shitok. Carefully remove the brake master cylinder to the brake booster. Remove the brake switch F of the brake master cylinder.
Setting Install in the reverse order When installing pay attention to the following points: When assembling the brake master cylinder and brake booster follow proper landing push rod in the brake master cylinder. Bleed the brake system.
Tightening torques The main brake cylinder to the brake booster 25 Nm. Switch brake to the main brake tsililndru: 5 N ?� m. Brake pipes to the master cylinder: 8.5 mm - 17 Nm 6 mm - 14 Nm.
