Adjusting tailgate



NOTE
To adjust the tailgate the car should stand on the ground.
Lock the lid 3 is screwed directly to the trunk lid 1. It has no attachment slots, so it can not be adjusted.

Adjustable left and right stops 2 do not serve for adjusting the Cover. The challenge is to balance the trunk lid 1 and to ensure the absorption of vibrations (Fig. 8.29).
The boot lid is adjusted correctly if gaps are closed on all sides evenly and if it does not protrude forward or backward, and is flush with the other parts of the body.
The trunk lid should snap lock in the bracket 3 without considerable effort (Fig. 8.29).

Finally, a description of the adjustment lid in several stages.
To adjust and control gaps, use a special tool.
By loosening the screws 5, you can adjust the trunk lid 1 in the holes on the hinge 4 with stock size.
Can a minor adjustment of the hinge 4 with fixing screws for this you must remove the rear shelf.

Adjust the trunk lid lock 1 on the bracket 3 (Fig. 8.29).
