Checking oil pressure and oil pressure sensor
Conditions The engine oil needs to be normal. Engine oil temperature must be at least 80 ?� C (radiator fan must do one cycle).
The order of execution of works Remove the oil pressure gauge and screw it into the gauge. Screw tester gauge in the holder of the oil filter instead of the sensor. Attach the brown wire gauge to measure the pressure of oil to the weight of (-). Connect voltage tester with auxiliary cables from the set of auxiliary measurement means to the positive battery (+) and oil pressure switch on. LED tester should not light up. If the LED lights up, replace the oil pressure switch. If the LED does not light up Start the engine and increase speed. When an overpressure of 1.2-1.6 bar LED should light up, otherwise replace the oil pressure switch. Increase engine speed. At 2000 min -1 and a temperature of oil in a 80 ?� C oil should overpressure 2.7 to 4.5 bar. At high speed the oil pressure must be no more than 7.0 bar. If nominal value is not reached Check strainer in maslozabornom nozzle for contamination.
NOTE Mechanical defects and damage such as bearing failure can be a cause of too low oil pressure. |
If no fault is found - replace the oil pump. If nominal value is exceeded - check the oil channels. If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket with pressure relief valve.
