Draining the oil filter housing

NOTE

When screwing the adapter to drain oil in the oil filter housing valve opens. When unscrewing the adapter oil drain valve is automatically closed again.

The order of execution of works

Remove the dust cap from the oil filter housing (Fig. 2.172).

Aim the hose adapter to drain the oil in a pan and screw the adapter to drain the oil in the oil filter housing.

Drain the engine oil.
