Removal and installation of the water pump



Withdrawal
Drain the coolant.

NOTE
Gaskets and O-rings should be replaced.

Remove ribbed belt.
Remove the timing belt.

Remove the mounting bolts of the water pump 1, 2, and remove the water pump (Fig. 2.189).

Setting
Installation is performed in reverse sequence, with the following.
Coat the new O-ring 3 coolant.
Install a water pump 2 in the engine block and tighten the fixing bolts to a torque of 1 15 Nm.

NOTE
Cork coolant pump shows down.

Install the timing belt.
Install poly V-belt.
Fill in cooling liquid.
