Removing and installing thermostat

Withdrawal

Disconnect the plug from the coolant temperature at the outlet of the radiator.

Remove the coolant hose from the union.

Loosen the screws 4 fitting 3 by a hinge key 10, unscrew the nozzle from the 5 and remove the nozzle 3 with a thermostat 1.

Thermostat 1 1/4 vol. (90 ?�) turn to the left and out of the connector fitting 3.

Setting

Installation is performed in reverse sequence, with the following.

Moisten a new O-ring 2 coolant.

Set the thermostat 1 to 3 coupling and make about 1/4. (90 ?�), turn right (Fig. 2.335).

Tighten mounting bolts 4 by a hinge 10. The key Tightening torque 15 Nm.

Fill in cooling liquid.
