Removal and installation of the water pump



Because of changes in the mounting bolts of the water pump pulley should be treated with the device a file three curvature and remove at least a = 1 mm.

NOTE
The built-in water pump gasket is prohibited to separate from the pump.
In case of damage and leaks should replace the water pump assembly with the gasket.

Withdrawal
Drain the coolant.
Remove the front right wheel arch liner.
Remove ribbed belt.
Remove the water pump pulley
Unscrew the bolts of the water pump
Remove the water pump from the engine block.

Setting
Install in reverse order, with the following implications:
Insert the water pump in the engine block.
Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 25 Nm.
Screw the water pump pulley to a torque of 20 Nm.
Install poly V-belt.
Install the front right wheel arch liner.
Fill in cooling liquid.
