Removal and installation of the flange on the side of the drive plate
Withdrawal Remove the engine. Disconnect the engine and gearbox. Remove the drive plate. Remove the oil pan.
Remove the old gasket.
Setting Clean the sealing surfaces of the flange and the cylinder. They must be free of oil and grease.
NOTE In the following description, operations shown without a sealing ring flange. In case of repair flange must be replaced with a sealing ring. To install, use the support sleeve provided in the kit. |
Remove the remaining oil on the crank pin of the crankshaft with a clean cloth.
Install a new gasket on the 1-fitting sleeves in the engine block (Fig. 2.104). Put the O-ring with a flange and has an outer side through the sleeve T10122 / 1 protracted sleeve T10122 / 2. Disconnect the two mounting bushings.
Then put a protracted sleeve T10122 / 2 with a dry seal ring on the crank pin of the crankshaft (Fig. 2.105). Screw the flange of the cylinder block. Torque: 10 Nm. Install the oil pan. Install the drive plate. Install the engine.
