Overview
The transmission is designed to transmit torque from the engine to the wheels. It consists of the following units: - Clutch, whose function - transmitting rotary motion of the flywheel of the engine crankshaft to the input shaft (input) manual gearbox (the gearbox) with the possibility of a smooth connection and disconnection of the latter (the flywheel and the input shaft VC); - Gearbox - a device allows you to change the gear ratios and the amount of torque transmitted to the output shaft (or between the "input" and "output" KP); - Final drive pinion gear which is rigidly connected to the secondary shaft gearbox and driven (epicyclic) gear via differential, allowing the drive wheels to rotate at different speeds, reports on the latest (the drive wheels) through the semi-axis enlarged n times (n - axle ratio transmission) torque. Clutch, gearbox, main gear and pinion semi-axis are combined in one compact unit. The transmission and the main transmission uses the same oil. The oil in the gearbox does not need to be replaced. However, there are a drain and filler plugs are used to drain the oil when replacing the transmission and topping up oil if necessary during the operation. Manual transmission only installed mechanically driven speedometer. With the manual transmission are also related mechanical measuring devices. There are two different models of gearbox. The model depends on the transmission torque. As a result of the following combinations: Engine V4184S V4204S V4192T Transmission M3R M3R M5D The main difference is in the values of the maximum engine torque. Structurally gearbox are no different. The gears in the box M5D slightly wider than the box M3R. It may also form different surface treatment of rollers and gears. Another difference is that the differentials in boxes M3R M3D and installed in different types of bearings.
