Cylinder Head
The head block (Fig. 3.2) consists of two sections which are cast from an aluminum alloy. In the lower section of the cylinder head is placed a valve mechanism, and camshaft bed. The upper section of the head unit performs the function of the valve cover and mating beds camshafts. Oil channels molded into the bottom of the top section, providing oil supply for the camshafts and hydropushers. Each camshaft is supported by five bearing formed by the two sections of the cylinder head. The head block has a hemispherical combustion chamber and the V-shaped arrangement of valves. Top cylinder head is covered with a flat cap. Seals between the head block and the cylinder block is metalloasbestovaya pad, and the connection between the upper and lower sections of the cylinder head is used mastic polymerizing Interleaving. The height of the cylinder head - 128,95-129,05 mm.

|
Permissible flatness of the cylinder head on the connector block / cylinder head: longitudinal - 0.50 mm; Transverse - 0.20 mm. The maximum allowable processing plane of the connector head / block to the cylinder head - 0.30 mm. Machining of the cylinder head is permitted, if the flatness of the head unit is in the normal range (Fig. 3.3).
