Electronic brake force distribution EBD
EBD is a fully integrated system and c ABS is therefore standard equipment. The system controls the brake gain to the rear wheels so that there is a constant and optimum safety, from the point of view of preventing blocking force. For example, at a high load on the vehicle, to create a higher force than that which would be possible in the case of a conventional hydraulic brake system. The force of the rear wheels is higher and shorter braking distances. In urgent cases, when braking ABS comes into play and takes over the job.
NOTE When the EBD light pulses can be felt, as in the ABS. |
If only the control lamp ABS, only the faulty ABS. If both indicator lights are lit, and the ABS brake circuit, the faulty and ABS, and EBD, therefore, should be with caution, take the vehicle to the nearest service station brand Volvo.
