|
g) Loosen fitting 1 (fig. 5.11) for feeding the brake fluid clutch slave cylinder; g) unscrew the two screws 2 fixing the clutch master cylinder; and) Remove the tube fitting 1 and remove clutch slave cylinder; a) remove the gasket; l) Clean clutch cylinder and the fire wall. m) install a new clutch master cylinder: - Install a new gasket on the fire wall; - Install and tighten the choke tube 1 with your fingers; - Screw the two nuts 2 and tighten the moment 13 Nm; - Set the hose between the tank and the cylinder; - Fill the brake fluid reservoir and tighten the choke tube after the connection of the brake fluid begins to flow; torque 15 Nm;
NOTE Use only brake fluid Volvo (DOT +). |
- Align opening bracket rod clutch master cylinder sleeve with a hole on the clutch pedal, insert the pin, set the spring latch, set the bottom cover of the instrument panel; - Set the vacuum pump and put the two screws bracket; tightening torque 10 Nm; - Install the fuse box (Fig. 5.10); Put the two screws and tighten to 10 N ? m; - Put the lid unit.
