Qualities of engine oils
Year-round oil mark VW 501 01 and VW 505 00 are relatively inexpensive and have the following characteristics: - The possibility of year-round use in temperate zones; - Excellent detergent properties; - Good lubricity at any temperature and load of the engine; - Stability of initial properties for a long time. Multigrade oils with improved anti-friction qualities mark VW 500 00 are also additional benefits: - The possibility of using almost any temperature of the ambient air; - Minor loss of engine power due to friction; - Make it easier to start a cold engine, even at very low temperatures. Multipurpose oil with a long service life mark 503 00 VW, VW and VW 503 01 506 00 operate in a wide range of temperatures, and the properties exceed the properties of conventional oils.
WARNINGS Seasonal oil due to their inherent specific viscosity-temperature properties generally can not be used year-round, so they should only be used in appropriate climates. When using multigrade oils SAE 5W-30 is necessary to avoid prolonged operation at high engine speed and a constant high load on the engine. These restrictions do not apply to multigrade oils with improved anti-friction properties. |
