Check and removal of the traction relay of a starter

Remove the starter.

Using additional wires of large cross section, connect the starter to the negative terminal of the battery and the positive terminal - to terminal "50". If the starter drive gear is moved forward, but the starter motor does not rotate, so defective or burned starter anchor of the traction relay contacts.

If the gear does not move forward of a starter, so out of order magnetic switch, and it must be replaced.

Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the starter motor to the bottom contact of the traction relay.

Remove the screws and remove the traction relay from a starter.
