Replacing gaskets cylinder head cover
If the flow of oil from the cylinder head cover does not fix the cover bolts tightening, replace the gasket. You will need: the key "10", flat-blade screwdriver, pliers. | | 1. Loosen the hose clip crankcase ventilation pipe to the engine cylinder head cover by squeezing it with pliers bent tabs, slide the clamp on a hose ... | 2. ... and disconnect the hose from the cover. |
| | 3. Remove the eight bolts securing the cylinder head cover ... | 4. ... and remove the cover. |
| | 5. Remove the pad from the slot cover and inspect. Strong compression, hardened or torn, replace the gasket. | 6. Thoroughly clean the gasket surface of the camshaft and the cylinder head cover and gasket from the remnants of sealant (if any). |
HELPFUL HINTS For a better seal before installing new gaskets, apply a thin coat of sealant to the mating surface of the housing. After cleaning the mating surface of the housing is not degreased. This allows in the case of applying the sealant further easily remove the cover. |
7. Place the gasket into the groove cylinder head cover. 8. Install the cylinder head cover and all the removed parts in reverse order of removal. Tighten cover bolts crosswise torque specified in Annex 1.
