Check the fluid level in automatic transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Run the engine to warm up a transmission to temperature 60 ~ 70 ? C.
2. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
3. With the engine running, press the brake pedal and consistently move the selector lever from the N position in all positions, then set it in N position, hold the lever in each position of no more than 3 seconds.
4. Before removing the dipstick, wipe dirt from the area near the probe. Remove the dipstick and check the transmission fluid. Check the color of the liquid in an automatic transmission. Check the liquid in an automatic transmission on presence of unusual smells. To determine the change in color and smell of the liquid compare it with fresh fluid.

5. Check the fluid level, which should be between labels HOT. If you want to add the required amount of liquid required.

Type of liquid for an automatic transmission: GENUINE DIAMOND ATF SP-II

The low level of the liquid may cause many malfunctions because air gets into the liquid and the liquid slurry with the air becomes compressed, leading to erratic changes in pressure and malfunction clutches and band brakes.

Also elevated levels of liquid leads to that rotating gear transmission whipped foam which leads to the same results as the air trapped in the transmission fluid.
