The oil pump diesel engines
Withdrawal | Remove the inner and outer gear oil pump from the front cover, previously noting their relative position.
Check | - Check for wear or damage to the gear teeth of the oil pump.
- Check the axial clearance of the rotors of the oil pump. Axial clearance: 0.02-0.07 mm.
- Feeler gauge to measure the gap between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump. The gap between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump: 0.1 -0.2 mm.
- Check the radial clearance of the rotors of the oil pump.
The plunger and the spring | - Check for smooth movement of the plunger.
- Check the spring for deformation or damage.
Check the oil pressure sensor | | - An ohmmeter check up conductivity of the connection between the sensor and the terminal block. In the absence of conductivity, replace the sensor.
| | - Ohmmeter check up conductivity between the terminal connections of the sensor and the cylinder block with the extended rod sensor. If the conductivity is available even at an extended stock, replace the sensor.
| |
- However, if no conductivity even with a vacuum of 50 kPa to an opening of the sensor, the sensor operates properly.
Checking the oil sprayer
| - Check the dispenser and oil control valve in the absence of obstructions.
- Check the spray oil for damage and deformation.
Setting | - Install the outer rotor of the oil pump in the front cover, pre-aligning the marks made previously.
| Before installing the rotor lubricate it with engine oil. |
- Using a special tool, screw the oil pressure gauge, pre-lubricated thread sealant layer sensor.
| Do not tighten the pressure sensor with a large torque. |
