Check idle speed
 | Before checking the idle speed, make sure that the spark plugs, fuel injectors, the modulator speed of idling (ISC), compression, etc. They are in order. |
Test conditions - The engine should be heated-up coolant temperature 80-95 ?� C.
- Headlights, dimensional illumination, radiator fan and all consumers of electricity should be turned off.
- Transmission should be set to the neutral position.
- The steering wheel should be set to move straight ahead.
| - Connect a tachometer to the primary winding of the ignition coil or the scanner to the diagnostic socket.
- Start up the engine and leave it to the engine speed to idle.
- No more than 5 to increase the engine speed up 2000-3000min -1, and then let it run at idle speed for 2 minutes.
- By tachometer determine the idling speed.
The idle speed: The engine of 1.6 liters: 850 ?� 100 min -1
Engines 1,8 and 2,0 l: 700 ?� 100 min -1
