Replacing the tailgate stops



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open and prop up the tailgate.
  2. Give two screws with heads of type TORX at the top of the palm.
  1. Give two bolts (arrows) securing the upper edge of the stop to the tailgate.
  1. Small screwdriver, release the clamp and lower ends of both stops, then firmly gripping the fence, pull it sharply separated from the ball stud.
  1. Small screwdriver, release the clamp and pulling sharply, remove focus from the ball stud.
  1. Install in reverse order. Firmly tighten all fasteners.
