Removing and installing dashboard

Details of the installation of the dashboard

See. The warning at the beginning of Section Removal and installation of decorative panels in place of the grille.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
Remove the grille air vents of the windshield, dash trim, cover column cover and the knee blocker panel trim switch (see. Sections Removal and installation of facing of a combination of devices, Removal and installation of facing the dashboard and Removal and installation of covers of the column cover).
Disconnect the electrical connector harness of the steering column, give nuts and omit the last column in the driver's seat.
Remove the left and right side fairing panels and drums. Disconnect the electrical connector and the antenna wire from the right side panel of the shock.
Remove the handle to open the drive hood (see section Removing and installing the bonnet cable and its drive).
Remove the center floor console (Section Removal and installation of the central console).
Remove the radio (Head System of an onboard electric equipment) and control panel a heater / air conditioner (Head of System of cooling, heating and air conditioning).
Disconnect the electrical connector bulkhead dashboard and disconnect the wiring harness at the bottom left of the board.
Disconnect electric vacuum lines and heater / air conditioner.
Remove facing the instrument panel.
Give the four upper nuts dashboard. Take the left and right fastening screws dashboard. Give the screw behind the ashtray and the screw on the steering column. Give the two screws on the left bracket of the central console.
Pull back the dashboard to access and disconnect the remaining electrical connections.
With the help of an assistant, remove the dash from the car.
Install in reverse order.
