Check and replacement of the breaker of indexes of turn / alarm

All considered models are equipped with an airbag. Cushion resides in the "heads-up" state and may operate (inflate) at any time at the connected battery. To avoid inadvertent deployment of the air (and result in the injury) each time when carrying out any work on the components of the security system disconnect the negative wire from the battery. After disconnecting the cables from the battery before starting work Wait for at least two minutes (the system is equipped with a condenser, which takes time to discharge). Flasher / alarm is kanistroobraznoy form relays providing flashing light indicator / alarm when the corresponding switch. On models 1993 Vol. two separate units are mounted on the rear of the service center under the dashboard on the driver's side of her. Models 1994 Vol. equipped with a combined chopper placed in the switch box in the glove compartment (Section Relays - General Information).

Properly functioning breaker issues at work clearly distinguishable by ear flicks. Refusal of one of operation of the direction indicators is accompanied by an increase in the frequency of clicks breaker indicates failure of the respective lamp.

The simultaneous failure of both direction of rotation can be caused by failure of fuse, defective breaker, breaker malfunction or breach of quality of contact or a broken wire in the circuit. If an external examination revealed a burning fuse circuit, before producing its replacement check wiring for short circuit.

To replace the chopper just pull it out and replace it with the new one.

Make sure that the new breaker is identical to the type of old.
