Replacing the drive lock lid and the bottom of the castle

The process of replacing a drive boot lid lock is similar to the process of replacing the drive lock the fuel filler flap (see. "Replacing the drive lock and lock the fuel filler flap"), except for the removal of the lower part of the castle. To perform these operations, you need a key "10". Operations are performed in the following order.

1. Remove the rear tailgate trim (see. "Removing and installing the rear trunk lining").


2. Disconnect the connector limit switch trunk ...	3. ... and push the switch wire into the cavity of a back panel.


4. Remove the two screws on the lock body to the trunk and remove the lower part of the castle from the place of its fastening.	5. Remove the tip of the sheath drive from the slot housing the bottom of the castle ...

6. ... disconnect the cable end, and remove the lid to lock the car.

7. Install the drive lock lid and the lower part of the castle in the reverse order of removal.
