Replacing the engine exhaust manifold gasket

Between the flanges of the cylinder head and the exhaust manifold gasket is installed, made of two molded thin metal strips interconnected by spot welding.

When tightness of the gasket breakout occurs outside the exhaust gas, accompanied by a characteristic sharp sound (Collector "flogs").
