Dismantling the cylinder head (beginning)
| Fig. 2.120. The components of the first stage of the disassembly of cylinder head: 1 - fixing bolts of asterisks of camshafts; 2 - stars camshafts; 3 - managing the oil valve (OCV) (L3); 4 - Cover the camshaft; 5 - camshafts; 6 - the valve tappet; 7 - a bolt of fastening of the cylinder head; 8 - cylinder head; 9 - cylinder head gasket; 10 - the block of cylinders
|
Loosen the bolts stars camshafts (see. Fig. 2.120) (bolt mechanism variable valve timing), as shown in Figure 2.121.

|
Remove the camshaft sprocket. The actuator of variable valve timing (L3 with variable valve timing mechanism). Remove the control oil valve (OCV) (L3 with variable valve timing mechanism).
| Fig. 2.122. Sequence of easing of bolts of camshaft bearing caps
|
Remove the camshaft bearing caps by loosening the bolts in three steps in the order shown in Figure 2.122.
NOTE Before removing the camshaft bearing caps, check the axial clearance of the camshaft and camshaft bearing clearances (see. Below). Camshaft bearing caps are numbered to ensure correct assembly. After removal, keep the lid together with the cylinder head, from which they were taken. Do not mix the caps. |
Remove the camshafts. Snimte valve lifters.
NOTE Valve tappets are numbered to ensure correct assembly. After removing the hold tappets with the cylinder head, from which they were taken. Do not mix the tappets. |
