Installation of pistons in cylinders with rods
When installing the piston rods from the cylinders of the engine, proceed as follows: - Coat the inner surface of the cylinder; - Expand the rods in front of the corresponding cylinders. The marks on the bottom heads of rods and connecting rod bearing caps should be placed against each other. The arrows on the bottom of the piston should be directed towards the front of the engine; - The piston rings on the piston to rotate so that their locks do not coincide with each other (every 120 ?); - Press the belt tensioning piston rings in their grooves, paying particular attention to the smooth entry of the rings in the groove; - Whenever the crankshaft rotate so that the crank pin mounted to the piston rod stopped at BDC; - Connecting rod to push the piston in the cylinder liner top. The engine lay on its side to the base of the rod with a rod installed in his liner could bring to the crankshaft, without scratching the cylinder liner and bearing; - Without opening the belt tensioning piston rings, push the piston in the cylinder before planting base with a rod installed in his liner to the crank pin of the crankshaft; - The second liner to put in a cover bearing guide a petal to the left side and liberally lubricate it. After that, put on the lid to the base rod and lightly tap on it. Labeling must be placed against each other; - Lubricate the contact nuts connecting rod bearing caps;

- Alternately hold Tightening the connecting rod cap torque 30 Nm and then tighten them another 90 ?, turning the knob another key a quarter turn. It should again be reminded of the need to measure before reuse of the thin rod bolts, as shown in Fig. 60; - After the installation of rods rotate the crankshaft several times in order to identify possible sticking point; - Check again the correctness of marking rods and the pistons, taking into account the direction of the arrows on the bottom of the piston and the numbering of the cylinders in the event that re-uses old parts; - Check the side clearance between each connecting rod bearings and the corresponding crankshaft with a feeler gauge. When using the new parts, this gap should be in the range of 0.11 to 0.23 mm. Limit wear - 0.50 mm.
