Removing and installing coolant pump



Removing and installing coolant pump is performed as follows:
- Free access to the front of the vehicle;
- Drain the coolant (see. Sect. 4.1). Do not open the radiator cap / expansion tank if the fluid temperature above 90 ?� C;

- Unscrew the screws fastening the pump pulley. To prevent rotation of the pulley, it is necessary to use a screwdriver inserted between the bolt heads as shown in Fig. 138. To remove a pulley;
- Remove the poly V-belt drive;
- Remove the belt tensioner damper;
- Remove the pulley from the crankshaft;
- Unscrew the bolts one by one pump and pull it out. Take out box him and immediately wipe the gasket sealing surface. When reinstalling the pump bolts into the holes first. Above and below the pump is mounted on the mounting sleeve;

- The coolant pump can be repaired, shown in Fig. 139 parts are supplied in parts, they can be purchased.
Installation of the pump is carried out in reverse order, with the following:
- If you remove the casing of the pump, it is necessary to put a new gasket on the drain pipe, insert it in the pump housing and screw;
- On the line to wrap pump bolts to 10 N ?� m;
- Put on the drive pulley, screw and bolt holding the pulley from turning, tighten all bolts to 10 Nm;
- Put on the crankshaft pulley on the front side and belt tensioner (see. The relevant section.)
- Pour coolant finalize assembly. Let the engine and reaches the operating temperature check the tightness of all connections.
