Removing the clutch

Note
Pressure plate and diaphragm spring do not understand in the case of failure of the replaced assembly. The manufacturer from time to time make changes in design, so install new clutch or the clutch disc must be given numbers body and engine.

The clutch can be removed without disassembling the engine. In any type of manual dismantling of the clutch should be carried out as follows:
- Remove the manual (see. Sect. 7.1);
- Mark the position of the clutch onto the flywheel. For this we need a center punch, mark;
- Weaken crosswise bolts to the weakening of the spring force. Then turn them in turn. These screws always be replaced;
- Remove the grip and remove the clutch disc. Just wipe with a cloth surface of the flywheel and check its condition. If the pads are worn down to the slave drive rivets, possibly on the working surfaces of the flywheel or pressure plate there are areas with wear.
When removing the engine and gearbox Always disassemble the clutch assembly to check its details.
