Check the thermostat is possible with a conventional thermometer. Suspending the thermostat, as shown in Fig. 148 is pushed into vessel with water and heat water. At about 85 ?� C, the thermostat should begin to open. When boiling water valve should open fully (minimum clearance of 8 mm).
Before filling the coolant check the tightness of the hose and clamp mount. Fill the coolant (see. Sect. 4.1.1).
